      it in its own comment - "which cannot be reverted from wp-admin;

      established pattern on this store, so it is the one used here.

   3. The mu-plugin and the Additional CSS both use !important on the
      card title size, the price colour and weight, the card padding and
      the image height. An unmarked rule cannot beat an !important one at
      any specificity. So !important appears below on EXACTLY the
      properties already contested and on no others. It is the minimum
      that makes the declaration take effect, and this block renders last
      in wp_head so it needs nothing more.

   4. The photo box measured 144x150 - not square - because the mu-plugin
      sets img height 150px !important under 900px and 210px !important
      above, beating the aspect-ratio 1/1 that snippet 118 declares.
      Height is returned to auto here so aspect-ratio can do its job.

   5. EVERY rule below is gated on the SAME three body classes that
      declare the variables - tax-product_cat, post-type-archive-product,
      tax-product_tag - and that is not tidiness, it is a bug that was
      shipped and caught. The first live version gated the variables on
      those three but the card rules on a bare "body.archive", which also
      matches /shop-by/size/245-70r17/ (body class tax-pa_size). There the
      variables were undefined, so padding:var(--sl-pad) and
      background:var(--sl-card) were invalid at computed-value time and
